Job Description And Duties Under general direction of the Supervisor II (Budget Officer), the Supervisor I supervises a group of analysts performing workload in the planning and development of the Governor’s Budget by collaborating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. This includes ongoing monitoring of actual data as compared to changes to the enacted budget (e.g. Budget Revisions, Section letters, and Executive Orders). Take a lead role in developing Budget Change Proposals and Enrollment, Caseload, and Population Estimates, and drafting legislative bill fiscal analyses. Range A: $6,989.58 - $8,496.42 / month Range B: $7,342.83 - $8,926.20 / month Two salary levels are established for the class of Special Assistant, Board of Supervisors. Initial appointments maybe made at either Range "A" or Range "B", whichever is deemed most appropriate by the appointing authority, based on the appointee's personal qualifications, level of independence/supervision under which the assigned duties are performed, and the relative difficulty of the duties of the position compared to those of the other positions in the class.
